Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake
Four-ingredient dump cake — cherry, pineapple, and cake mix under a buttery browned topping.

- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 box cake mix (yellow, white, or chocolate)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray the bottom of a 9×13 cake pan with cooking spray.
- Dump 1 can of cherry pie filling into the pan and spread it out.
- Dump 1 can of crushed pineapple on top of the cherries.
- Dump 1 box of cake mix evenly over the fruit.
- Cut 1 stick of butter into chunks and dot them evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake at 375°F for 45–60 minutes, until the topping is browned.
Variants & Notes
- More butter, better coverage: Many versions use 1½ sticks (12 Tbsp) instead of 1. Freeze the butter at least 1 hour, then slice it into thin pats so the topping bakes evenly.
- Other fruits: Swap the fruit and cake mix — Black Forest (cherry filling + chocolate cake mix), peach cobbler (canned peaches + yellow cake mix), or apple (apple pie filling + spice cake mix, dusted with cinnamon). Keep the crushed pineapple, or use another juicy canned fruit — the juice is what lets the cake mix bake through instead of staying powdery.
